Couldn't agree with you more--but I'd say take it one step further. Non profit organizations like CCCS (Consumer Credit Counseling) have budgeting and basic homebuying courses offered for free...

I think there will be some more localized pain but some markets, for example where i am in Dallas, i feel are not going to decline any further. I am concerned about the tax credit going away and the effects...

I don't get it? I have had 2 lenders improve pricing already today (slightly). The 10 bps improvement almost isn't worth it, so why would they want to pass anything on with how range bound MBS...

I do think that the 8K first time buyer incentive is a good program for this time and this market. However, when the program expires, it will leave a huge void in demand as a large percentage of current...
