GSEs, Mortgage Insurers Delegate Short Sale Authority to Servicers to Ease Process

Agreements were announced on Wednesday with nine private insurance carriers that will make foreclosure alternatives much quicker and easier for some Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (the GSEs) borrowers to obtain.
