I think the disconnect here is over lock to close vs. application to close. Thirty days is more than enough time if the 4506-T/appraisal/title and all supporting docs are in. If you are counting from application...

It's not the wrong lender. it's the wrong state! Here in metro NY, it's risky to do a 45-day lock, and some lenders will only accept 60-day locks! And, I echo what's been said since HVCC...
