I don't think the media is doing great job of relaying this information. I read the Beige Book findings and see no reason to be optimistic about the economic outlook. I agree, Fed cannot raise rates...

AQ my concern is that when the FED raises rates and pulls back the QE throttle that we will see these banks back in the same position....even though loan quality is improving foreclosures are going to...

this strategy works over time...dont try to time the exact top and bottom. Lock when rates are priced in the aggressive half of the historical range. Yes yields could move lower...but mortgage yields move...
