Not likely AP....MBS are already SUPER RICH vs. benchmarks because of low loan supply and Fed buying. The guarantee would be helpful in keeping MBS valuations from cheapening up too much when the Fed exits...

AQ, let's say that the budget does add the GSEs to the federal budget, wouldn't that make MBS more attractive on its own. And thus allow the Fed to exit the MBS purchase market. If this all happens...
