Foreclosure Filings Hit Record Number of Properties in 2010

A record number of properties, close to 3 million, were the subject of foreclosure filings in 2010 according to figures released on Thursday by RealtyTrac. The company reports that the recent foreclosure moratorium may have delayed as many as a quarter million proceedings.
