CoreLogic Estimates Shadow Inventory at 1.8 Million Homes

For the second time in less than a week economists have attempted to quantify the amount of shadow inventory currently lurking in the background of the housing market. MG isolated a DJ report : IMF No Requests for Financial Assistance from Portugal as the only major news on the wires at the time of the MBS price dip. We don't think this was really the market's underlying motivation for the sudden change of direction...
